About Us
The United Music and Arts Conference (UMAC) is where the Black Church and the music
industry meet. Founded by Professor Craig Hayes, UMAC was created to strengthen the
connection between music and ministry by equipping leaders with tools, training, and purpose
that can be brought back to serve their local congregations.
UMAC exists to restore excellence, accountability, and cultural integrity in music ministry.
Through workshops, masterclasses, open dialogue, and live performance, UMAC brings together pastors, church musicians, church singers, major artists, independent artists, and industry professionals to learn from one another and grow—across generations and across platforms.

UMAC Attendees are responsible for informing the parking attendees upon arrival that they are associated with the conference in order to receive the discounted parking rate. UMAC Attendees will receive a 50% discount off PREVAILING overnight Self and Valet parking rates. Attendees will only receive this parking discount if reservation is made through the reservation website link. PREVAILING room incidental rate: $75.00 per night.
